Okay help me out people.

A while back, there was a FANTASTIC video uploaded to youtube by Scribblefish I think (presumably the same scribblefish on LJ?)--it was a GP video to At the Beginning composed entirely of manga images but made to look like moving video.

It was under my favorites, but is no longer up that I can see, and I MISS IT SO :(

Does anyone have it and can direct me to it/upload it for me? Maybe I should PM scribblefish...assuming that's the person who made the video in the first place of course...

So, I was doing some research for the *pnish*/Nagayan AU meeting fic, and sniffing around Nagayan's Wiki page, and was reviewing the cast list for a TV show he did back in 1999 called Abunai Houkago. Have a looksee:

That's Shibutani Subaru, one of the more memorable members of Johnny's group Kanjani8 for me. This alone would not be a big deal--Nagayan was in a random episode of a show starring a random Johnny's boy. Soooo?

Except this now clears up something I'd been wondering for a while (and am surprised I never checked it out, durr) as to just when Nagayan and Subaru met, because (and of course I can't find the pic now) there's a magazine article of Subaru with him wearing this Blossam shirt during the photoshoot *___* Granted the drama was back in 1999 and that shirt was released late 2004, so he obviously got it quite some time after they performed together in that random little episode, but still! Small world!

Can sooooomeone please explain to me why Tsujimoto Yuuki is SHOWING OFF THE GOLDEN PAIR FANART HE HAS PUT UP IN HIS BATHROOM?? The Oishi fanart I can understand, BUT THE GP FANART? And umm, correct me if I'm taking this the wrong way, BUT ISN'T THAT ART THERE MORE THAN A LITTLE SHIPPY?? I love how metrosexual he is XD Now if only Tuti would let us in on the no doubt copious amount of GP fanart he has squirreled away...

In other news! Today was the Anchovy senshuuraku! daiki_dansu and I arrived an hourish early and picked up our ticket, splurged on goods we didn't need (and randomly got remembered by the guy selling goods--he's been doing all of KG's goods selling since they started, and was all, "Oh, long time no see!!" :D) and made our way inside.

The show itself was quite amusing. It centers around a group of 4 friends from a small village--3 of whom move to Tokyo after high school. The 4th stays behind, and calls up the other 3 ten years later because the village is dying out, and he wants to help draw tourists and people back to it by putting on a show. The show involves crossdressing, a pirate named Jack Starrow, zombies dancing the Thriller dance, and lots of cases of mistaken identity. In short? It was pretty fricking hilarious XD

Iwashita-san and Hotta were great, and it was my first time really getting to see Shunri and Fujiwara in something big since their roles in TeniMyu (even longer for Fujiwara, since he didn't get to come back for random guest bits like Mamo and Shunri have gotten to do). After the show, Meg and I ducked out of the theater following everyone else, and kind of stepped off to the side in a little corner in front of the guy's bathroom so I could put on my coat before we went back up. I'm in the middle of zipping my coat up, and a guy appears in front of us needing to get into the toilet.

Me: "OH!"
Him: "...OH! HISASHIBURIIIIII~!"

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, MY HUSBAND. We kind of shared a, "Oh HEY I KNOW YOU" moment, and then we let him get to takin' care of business and skeedaddled. I didn't even know he was back in Tokyo (he's been in Osaka doing a show for, like, the past 2 months or something...) YAY FOR RANDOM RUNNING INTO PEOPLE I KNOW :D

And as if that wasn't enough, on the way back to Nakameguro station, Meg and I are walking and talking, and we pass a guy trying to get something out of a vending machine. I catch his eye, because I remembered seeing him back in the theater, and wondering who he was. He looks slightly familiar, but we pass him and I shake it off. Curious, though, I toss one glance back, and he's still looking at me, and then gives a smile and a nod, and I kind of smile and nod back.

The guy? Kumakura Isao, another Kitty Guy XD KUMAAAAA~ :D He's one of my faves, even though he's so fricking shy and scared of foreigners. Having been privy to seeing his manly bits in a previous KG skit, though, I feel a connection :D Oh boys~

We killed a bit of time in Shibuya before Meg had to head to Shinagawa to get on the shinkansen to head back to Shiga (that's way too many "sh" words in one sentence...) by wandering around--dropping by Gain to see if Tenchou was still around. Since it was about 8:30, of course Gain was closed, but it was kind of fun watching him closing up shop (we didn't talk to him, and he didn't see us, we could just see through the window). Another day over!

Also: Is Tuti DEAD or something? wtf, dude.

Okay, for some reason I cannot find at ALL where the heck the post I made (or email I archived) is with all of your orders for On7. So I have 7 On7 DVDs here (8, but one of them is mine) that I want to send out with all you guys' stuff!

I was so excited to wake up this morning, as it's Kikumaru Eiji's birthday~!! Why so excited? Because I would get to see what amazing little well-wishes Nagayan would have for Eiji this year :D

Unfortunately, when I woke up--at first there was only this post.

The later it gets, the stranger my tension gets.
I start getting called 'Oishi-san', and it's really dangerous to deny it (but it's fun!) (+_+)

Subway and I made a date :D And then I remembered I don't really like turkey that much 8D; I had a ham one also, though, which was delish.

And then when I got home, I had a present waiting in my mailbox!



NAGAJO KOREA TRIP PACKET :OOOOO It's kinda weird getting it now because...IT'S ALMOST TIME. The Narita group has the longest schedule--we don't leave Korea until, like, almost 7 PM on Monday to get back to Japan, ugh. Compare that with the Kansai group that leaves around 2 PM. Weird o_O I guess that means we get a more relaxed schedule, though? Which is cool with me. We have to meet at Narita next Saturday at 7:30 AM though :(((((( Yay bright and early... And our first meal is seafood hotpot! GOOD THING I DON'T HATE SEAFOOD MORE THAN ANY OTHER FOOD IN THE WORLD 8D;;; OH WAIT.

At least we get yakiniku the second day, though *___* authentic Korean yakiniku! It promises to be lovely, as long as I can make sure I get some normal meat for grillin'!

Oh, random: I totally just went out to Lawsons to buy a lightbulb...and was greeted by Nagayan's lovely face :D Courtesy of this XD I wonder if they'll give me the poster when they have to take it down which could be March, considering how long they had Bambino stuff up...

And also! BabaRyo is on Visual Boy now :OOOOO Does this mean we'll get more T2 goodies? GOD I HOPE SO. Please to be spamming that blog with tales of your wacky Golden Trio adventures??

TSUJI IS A BADASS MOFO ACTOR. WTF? From his most recent post (in which he answers some of the 32984729342 questions he asked people to send in a couple of weeks ago):

Question: I went to see "HARD TO HOLD" the other day, and Tsuji-kun's performance was so amazing, I still remember the fear from it (haha) Is there a scene from it that really sticks out when you were playing Shimura-sensei?

Tsujimoto: Thanks for coming to see the show~ It was really my first time performing that kind of role, so I was able to have fun with it. And actually, there was a really big happening one time!

I was really calm during it, so not many people may have noticed it, but in one scene, Shimura is really stressed out, and takes this textbook that his lover Hiiro got from some college students living next door and just starts stabbing it over and over with a pair of scissors. I really have to get into that scene mentally and just go all out, so I tore into it like usual, and afterwards I have to go sit off to the side to wait for my next scene. But when I did so this time, I could hear the audience members in the first row going, "Bl--blood...!"

'Huh? What are they talking about...?' And then I looked at my hand...

AND THERE WAS A TON OF BLOOD ON IT. ＼(☆o☆)／

Apparently I got really out of it and cut myself!

I was still pumped full of adrenaline from the scene, so until I actually heard the audience members talking about it, I didn't even feel the pain (haha) I'm actually not supposed to leave the stage the whole time, but on that one occasion I left to stop the bleeding by my next scene. (-"-;)
